Obituary of John Erickson
John Fred Erickson, 73, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart.
Born April 19, 1934 in Valley Stream, NY, he was to son of Fritz Oscar Rudolph Erickson and Mildred Cliffe Erickson. He moved to Palm City in 1989 from New York.
He was a retired Office Manager with Long Island Lighting Company, where he was employed for 37 years.
He was of the Lutheran faith and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Port St. Lucie.
He served in the U. S. Army from 1957 to 1959. He received the Good Conduct Medal and Parachutist Badge.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Kathleen C. Erickson; sons, John Charles Erickson of Palm City and Scott Francis Erickson, and wife, Sheri, of Loxahatchee, FL; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Emma, Hope, Sam, Ronnie, Dillan and Luke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Martin Memorial Medical Center, 3 West Oncology Unit; 300 North Hospital Avenue, Stuart, FL 34994.
