John D. Gold Jr., 87, of Palm City, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay-Madeira House, Stuart, FL.

Born in Youngstown, OH he had been a resident of Palm City for over 30 years coming from West Islip, NY.

Before retiring he was a securities analyst on Wall Street with Merrill-Lynch and Manufacturers-Hanover. After retirement he was the tennis court superintendent at Harbour Ridge Country Club, Palm City.

Survivors include his wife, Marianne Gold of Palm City; his daughters, Meg Larabee and her husband Herb of Sarasota, FL and Sandi Gold of Rhode Island; his sons, John Gold and his wife Jeanne of the Washington DC area, William Gold of Lake Worth, FL, Tony Gold and his wife, Amy of Satellite Beach, FL and Jason Gold and his wife Alison of Hendersonville, NC and 6 grandchildren.
