Obituary of John Hess
John Hess, 88, of Stuart, Winter Springs, Florida, died August 22, 2010 at South Seminole Hospital, Longwood, Florida.
Born in Reiffton, Pennsylvania, he moved to Winter Springs from Port St. Lucie where he lived for over 20 years. He came to Port St. Lucie from West Palm Beach.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy.
Before retiring he was a supervisor for Sears in West Palm Beach. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.
Survivors include his grandchildren Johnette Hess and Robin Hess of Winter Springs.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy M. Hess and sons, Robert Allen Hess and Ronald Lee Hess.
SERVICES: There will be a cryptside service at 1:00 PM on August 25, 2010 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
