John "Jack" Ellsworth Williams, 79, of Palm City, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Jack was born in Youngstown, OH, to Homer and Martha Williams. He was a graduate of George Washington University and served honorably as a Lieutenant in the Naval Corps of Engineers. He was also a veteran of the Vietnam War. Jack worked as a civil structural engineer for Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation for over 31 years. After his retirement, he moved to Palm City, FL, to pursue many of his passions.

Jack was an adventurous sailor with a love of the ocean, an avid golfer who enjoyed competition, an intrepid traveler experiencing incredible wonders around the world, and a passionate fisherman always looking for a place to drop a line. He had an insatiable zest for life, an infectious sense of humor and a quiet strength.

Jack is survived by his wife, Arden Williams, three daughters Elizabeth Rose, Patricia Williams, and Pamela Reid, four stepchildren Valerie Buckley, David Wagner, Steven Wagner and Gary Wagner, 13 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Jack was also preceded in death by first wife, Joyce Williams. He was loved and cherished by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.
