Obituary

John Kraynak 88 went to his eternal rest 8/02/2021 with his wife Helen of 65 years at his side.

He was born 10/02/1932 to Julia and Michael Kraynak.  His mother died 10 days after his birth. He grew up in Jersey City with his sister Mary Cassotta(deceased). He went to Lincoln High School and Panzer College where he played basketball.his education was interrupted when his father died suddenly.

He joined the Navy where he served on the USS Bennington.  Upon discharge he married Helen Ozimok and moved to East Brunswick.  He raised two wonderful daughters,  Deborah and Lorie. HE went back to Middlesex College and got a degree in hotel restaurant management.  He worked for A&P as butcher, manager and deli merchandiser.  He help establish the first Byzantine Catholic boys basketball league which he coached for five years bringing home two winning seasons. He continued coaching at Nativity of our Lord when he help establish a church in East Brunswick
.upon retirement he moved to a condo on the beach in Florida.  He traveled extensively thru Europe, Asia,Africa and South America.

John loved his Mets and Giants and playing golf.  His high was getting a hole in one.

He leaves two daughters Deborah and husband Art of Illinois and Lorie of New Jersey.  He had four grand children, Michael & wife Jen, Sarah and husband Christopher, Julie and husband Ric and Allison and husband Craig.  Eight great grand children with a baby boy due in October. Thomas,John, Catherine, Caroline,Ryan,Evan,Hannah and Michael Joseph.
