John J. Leddy, 67, of Jensen Beach passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 4, 2020. He was born in Yonkers, NY and was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Joan (Collins) Leddy. He is survived by his loving wife, Carla, of (42) years and a devoted son, John from Port St. Lucie, his wife, Melanie; (3) grandchildren, Jayden, Khloe and Madison; (2) brothers, Kevin of Jensen Beach and Brian of Lake Tahoe and (9) nieces and nephews. John worked for NuCo2 for the past (20) years as a bulk CO2 beverage scheduler. After graduating from Mamaroneck High School in 1971, John attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and worked as a Baker for several years. Later, he worked for Soda Systems and Coke NY in New Rochelle, NY. He was an avid music lover, collector of Beatles Memorabilia, self-proclaimed 5th member of the group and creator of vast music mixes for friends and family. He was a lifelong NY Yankees, Giants and Rangers fan. His son, John, will never forget the times spent watching sports together, especially watching the 1996 World Series. John enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and the occasional glass of wine, especially in Italy. John was known for his quick wit, infectious laugh and had a kind and compassionate heart especially the love and devotion he showed to his wife, Carla. He will be truly be missed.

Friends are invited to gather on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at Forest Hills Funeral Home 2001 SW Murphy Road Palm City from 4 until 8 P.M. Funeral Services for John will be at the funeral home on Thursday January 9 at 11 A.M. with Father Jack Barrow. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made in his loving memory to the charity of your choice.
