Obituary of John Mee
John C. Mee, 79, of Palm City, passed away August 31, 2008 at his residence. He was born October 26, 1928 in Worcester, MA. He has been a resident of Framingham, MA before moving to Palm City 11 years ago. He was a graduate of Worcester Academy and Clark University. John was the owner of Kents Home Fashions in Framingham and Westboro, MA, for 35 years. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marian Callahan Mee of Palm City; daughters, Susanne Mee Gibbs and her husband Jerome of Raynham, MA and Caryn Mee of Reston, VA, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert H. Mee and his parents, Henry and Mildred Mee.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00AM Wednesday, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
John will then be transferred to Norton Funeral Home in Framingham, MA, for services at St. Bridget Catholic Church, and interment in St. Stephens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1100 East Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL 34997, 772-403-4530, or to the Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mount Wayte Ave., Framingham, MA 10702.
Local arrangements are entrusted to Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
