Obituary of John Moscato
John Anthony Moscato, 81, died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Treasure Coast Hospices in Stuart.
Born in Florence, NJ, on April 30, 1926, he has resided in Stuart for 12 years, coming from Port St. Lucie where he had lived since 1990 coming from Burlington, NJ.
Prior to retirement he worked at United Aero in Burlington, NJ; after moving to Florida he owned and operated A Cut Above, a new construction cleaning company on the Treasure Coast.
He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Merchant Marines.
He helped establish the Burlington Township Volunteer Fire Department and had been an active volunteer with Little League programs.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 39 years, Mary Lou Moscato (Walters) of Stuart; son and daughter-in-law, Charles R. and Dori Johnston, Sr. and John A. Moscato, Jr., all of Stuart; five grandchildren, Michele and Misty Mosc ato of South Carolina; Christy Moscato of Arizona; Sandi and Chucky Johnston of New Jersey; and three great grandchildren, Jordan, Joseph and Justice Johnston of New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, Inc., 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Graveside Services will be held at 10 AM, Thursday,May 31, 2007, Forest Hills Memorial Park followed by a Gathering and Celebration of Life will be follow at St. Lucie Falls Clubhouse in Stuart.
