Obituary of John Ornellas
John H. Ornellas, 72, of Palm City, Florida, died May 11, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he had lived in Palm City for 15 years, coming from Fresno, California.
He was a graduate of the University of Hawaii and had served in the Army National Guard.
Before retiring he was the Director of Information Services for Dole Foods in Hawaii and California for over 28 years. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City, the Knights of Columbus, Stuart and Monarch Country Club, Palm City.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Joan Ornellas of Palm City; a son, John H. Ornellas, Jr. of Chugiak, Alaska; a daughter, Jennifer Wright of Port St. Lucie; a brother Harry Ornellas of Hawaii and two grandchildren.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on May 21, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
