John P. Sebold passed away on September 7, 2021 at SandhiII Cove. He was born in Newark, Ohio on April 14, 1937. He was the son of Harold and Florence Sebold.

John graduated from the University of Cincinnati in June of 1960 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He married his wife Helen two weeks after graduation.

John worked for Procter & Gamble, Brunswick, and Shio which became BP Oil Co.

John and Helen lived in Cincinnati, Ohio; Omaha, Nebraska; Marion, Virginia; Lima, Ohio; Fort Worth, Texas; Lima, Ohio; Media, Pennsylvania before retiring to Stuart, Florida. His favorite pastime was sailing the Chesapeake, Bay.

John was active in the Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club, Monarch Country Club and as a volunteer tax aide for AARP.

John is survived by his wife Helen, son David of Riverside, CA (wife Silvia), son Scott of Carlisle, PA (wife Barbara), granddaughter Alexandra Sebold of Tampa, FL, and grandson Jonathan Sebold of Terre Haute, IN.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM Wednesday, Sept 15 ^th at the Palm City Presbyterian Church 2700 SW Martin Hwy, Palm City, FL 34990.

In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Martin County or the Sandhill Cove Foundation.
