John Joseph Sulkowski, Jr. was born on July 31, 1938 in Erie, PA.  He was married to Phyllis Catalano and they had three children; MaryBeth, John, III (who predeceased him), and Heather (Lance); two grandsons, Brandon and Justin.

John served in the Navy on the USS Lester DE 1022.  After service in the Navy he became a co-owner of A&A Engineering & Construction.  John also served his local community by being a member of the VFW – Lymnasville Post 10011.  He also served as President of the Lions Club International – Federal Hill, RI.

He loved bowling, and was an excellent player.  He enjoyed watching the Red Sox and New England Patriots, but John loved his family above all else.

Services will be held privately at a later date.  Those who wish, donations in John's name, to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
