Obituary of John Westerfield

John (Jack) Westerfield, USN (ret) passed away April 2, in his home in Palm City,

A long-time resident of the area, Jack was the Manager of Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley

from 1981 to 1996. He was a graduate of the University of Miami (1963)

Jack was a decorated naval aviator who served in the U. S. Navy and proudly

served his country on both active duty and in the active Naval Reserve for 26 years.

He was well recognized in Martin County for his many civic activities and was

particularly fond of his experience as a mentor to many young men in the area.

He was an avid and accomplished golfer, a long time member of the Evergreen

Golf Club in Palm City.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Shana Fleming, son-in-law Shawn

Fleming and grandson John Patrick and will be fondly remembered by his family and

Friends in the Florida Area and throughout the country.
