Obituary of John Westerman, Jr.

John W. Westerman Jr. went to be with his Lord on Friday, December 12th. Mr. Westerman was a life-long Missouri Synod Lutheran, and is survived by his son John W. Westerman III, daughter-in-law Sudy Westerman, and four grandchildren and their spouses; Elizabeth Yoder and husband Jared, Christopher Westerman and wife Brittany, Michael Westerman and wife Jonell, and Thomas Westerman. Mr. Westerman was a retired career intelligence officer with two foreign postings. Having spent much of his professional life in the Washington D.C. area, he moved to Stuart, Florida after his retirement until relocating to Winter Haven five years ago in order to be with family. His quick wit and long, humorous stories will be missed.
