Obituary of Jose Gonzalez
Jose Louis Gonzalez, 58, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at St. Marys Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL.
Born in Puerto Rico, he has resided in Port St. Lucie for 18 years coming from Minotola, NJ.
He was a fuel parts purchaser for Wilsons Petroleum Equipment in Fort Pierce.
He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Survivors: daughters, Mayra De Luca of Palm City, FL and Sureida Gonzalez of Port St. Lucie, FL;son, Louie Gonzalez of New Jersey; mother, Petra Gonzalez of Puerto Rico; sisters, Mirna Riggs and Lydia Gonzalez, both of New Jersey; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Emerita Gonzalez and his father, Jose Gonzalez.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the School Supply for Students 2007, Cris Adams, United Way of St. Lucie County , 4800 South US 1, Ft. Pierce, FL 34982
Services: Calling hours will be held 6 PM to 8 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, June 11, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Joseph Quinn officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
