Obituary of Joseph Cohen

Dr. Joseph M. Cohen, 91, of Palm City, FL, passed away quietly at his home on September 16, 2013.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a resident of Palm City for 29 years coming from, Freeport, New York.

During World War II and the Korean War he served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant JG.

Prior to retirement he had a dental practice in Freeport, New York for over 50 years.

He was a member of the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Society.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years Ingrid Cohen; a brother; two sons; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Ruth Cohen and a sister.

Services will be private under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL with military honors provided by the US Navy.
