Obituary of Joseph Dragoni

Joseph L. Dragoni, 89, of Stuart, FL passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his home.

Born in New York, NY, he had lived in Palm City for 21 years, coming to Florida from Columbus, OH.

A graduate of Fordham Prep and Columbia University, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946 during World War II.

During a 40 year career in sales he worked as national sales manager for various companies including Scotts, Swan Hose and Colorite Plastics.

He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the Willoughby Country Club, in Stuart and a life member the New York Athletic Club.

He is survived his wife of 51 years, Mary Claire Dragoni; his sons, Joseph L. Dragoni III and his wife Karen of Bronxville, NY and David J. Dragoni and his wife Lauren of Powell, OH and seven grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Cove Road, Stuart, with Military Honors provided by the U.S. Navy.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
