Obituary of Joseph Failla

Joseph S. Failla, 71 of Jensen Beach, formerly of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at his home.

Born in Brooklyn, NY he had been a resident of the Treasure Coast for 15 years coming from Jackson, New Jersey.

Prior to retiring he was the co-owner, with his wife of hair salons in Jackson and Beachwood, New Jersey. He also had been a salesman for Lakewood Toyota, New Jersey and worked at Home Depot in Jupiter, FL.

He was a former member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in St. Lucie West, FL and the Knights of Columbus in Jackson.

Survivors include sons, Joseph Failla and his wife Renee of Fort Pierce, Timothy Failla and his wife Sue of Sebastian, FL and Christopher Failla and his wife Caaren of Vero Beach; a daughter, Cindy Rado and her husband Eric of Jackson, NJ; his mother, Antoinette Failla ; a sister, Maureen of North Carolina and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Failla in 2004, his father Joseph Failla and brothers, Thomas Failla and Daniel Failla.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.

Entombment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
