Obituary of Joseph Gitter

Joseph Jerry Gitter, 91, of Bellingham, WA, died peacefully January 18, 2015 following a short illness. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a resident of Palm City for 26 years and was a volunteer fireman with Station 21 for many years.

Survivors include his sons, Ken Gitter of Blaine, Washington and Stuart Gitter of Staten Island, New York; a sister, Adele Weinberg of Columbia, Maryland; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.



There will be a Celebration of Life with food and refreshments on January 30, 2015, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
