Joseph Gomes, 47, of Port St Lucie, died July 19, 2008 at his home.
Born in Brooklyn, New York he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 29 years coming from Islip, New York.
He was the owner/operator of Impressive Auto Body, Fort Pierce for 16 years.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Gail Gomes of Port St. Lucie; sons, Vincent Gomes of Orlando, FL, Joseph Gomes of Tallahassee, FL and Stephen Gomes of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Laura Gomes of Tallahassee; his father John Gomes of West Islip, NY; brothers Robert Gomes of Port St. Lucie, John Gomes of North Massapequa, NY and Richard Gomes of Port St. Lucie and sisters Rosann Harvey and Elisa Scott both of Columbus, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his mother Rose Mandery
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to12:00 PM July 25, 2008 with a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with Rev Joseph P. Quinn officiating.
