Obituary of Joseph Guzman
Joseph Guzman, 64, of San Juan, Puerto Rico, died, December 23, 2009 at the VA Medical Center, San Juan.
Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he had been a resident of Puerto Rico for 32 years coming from Hoboken, New Jersey.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corp in Vietnam.
He had been a truck driver
Survivors include daughters, Marrey Guzman of Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Roseann Guzman and Sandra Guzman of Carolina, Puerto Rico; a son Jose Guzman of Asheville, North Carolina; brothers, Julio Guzman of Jersey City, New Jersey and George Guzman of Hoboken, New Jersey; a sister Ana Lawrence of Stuart; 23 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, December 29, 2008 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Palm City with a Vigil Prayer Service at 4:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on December 30, 2009 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Stuart. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, with military honors provided by the U.S. Marine Corps.
For those who wish, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 39105, 800/822-6344 or on line at www.stjude.org in Mr. Guzman's memory.
