Obituary of Joseph Lanigan
Joseph D. Lanigan, 90, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2104 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce, FL.
Born in New York, NY, he had lived in Port St. Lucie for the last 3 years, coming from Palm City where he resided for over 22 years.
During World War II, he served in the US Army Air Corp.
Prior to retiring he was the manager of expedite, inspection and traffic for the engineering firm of Pullman-Kellog in Hackensack, NJ.
He was currently a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie but had been a longtime member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Margaret Lanigan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on October 22, 2014 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Port St Lucie followed by military honor provided the US Air Force.
