Joseph M. Schneider, 81, of Palm City, passed away May 2, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. He was born in Queens, NY and had been a resident of Palm City since 1970, having moved from Titusville. He had been a Quality Control Inspector for Grumman Aircraft before retirement. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph M. Schneider Jr. and Robert Schneider of Palm City; daughter, Jean Marie Schneider of Clermont; 4 grandchildren, Danielle of Seattle, Kristen of Atlanta, Elizabeth of Palm City and Michael of Palm City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Johnston Schneider in 1999.

Services will be private.
