Obituary of Joseph Wisnack
Joseph R. Wisnack, 91, of Stuart, Florida, passes away on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Brookdale Jensen Beach Assisted Living, Jensen Beach, FL.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he had been a Stuart resident for many years.
He was a career serviceman, retiring after more than 25 years from the U.S. Army with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. After his retirement form the military he worked for the Chase Manhattan Bank and Utica Mutual Insurance Company.
He had received a bachelor degree in education and also attended LaSalle Law School.
He had attended St. Andrew Catholic Church, Stuart.
He is survived by his children, Karen Rayburn and her husband Richard of Pensacola, FL; Mark Wisnack of Stuart and Diane Blass and her husband James of Branchburg, NJ and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Wisnack and his sister, Jeanne Quinn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Stuart followed by Entombment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, Florida.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
