Obituary of Josephine Cannon

Josephine Cannon, 87, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died on September 18, 2012 at Treasure Hospice Harper House, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Highland, New York, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for over 27 years coming from Cornwall, New York.

Before retiring, she was direct sales representative with Stanley Home Products and Avon. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.

Survivors include sisters, Mary Valentino of Highland, New York; brothers, Anthony Cusa of Stuart, Florida and Paul Cusa and Salvatore Cusa, both of Highland, New York and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Cannon, sisters Ann Morrison, Mona Puglielli and Vivian Trapani and brothers, Frank Cusa, Pat Cusa and Richard Cusa.

Services: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on September 20, 2012 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on September 21, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
