Obituary of Josephine Green

Josephine Green, 82, of Jensen Beach, FL, formerly of Lincoln, MI, passed away on September 13, 2014 at Palm City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Palm City, FL. She was born in Detroit, MI and had been a winter resident of Jensen Beach from 1994 until 2011 when she became a full time resident, having moved from Lost Lake Woods Club in Lincoln, MI. She had been an ice cream business owner before retirement. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Lincoln, MI.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William "Bill" H. Green of Jensen Beach, sons, John P. Green (Gina) of White Lake, MI and Arthur "Buddy" A. Green of Wilmington, NC; daughters, Christine Florentine of Pierson, MI, Cheryl A. Councell of Palm City, FL and Cynthia L. Bruno (Robert) of Sterling Heights, MI; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Gino Battisti and Dominic Battisti; and sisters, Ann Amormino, Delores Marcinkowski and Eva Stockwell. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eda Amormino.

A memorial gathering will be held, 2:00 - 5:00PM, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Lost Lake Woods Club, Lincoln, MI.
