Obituary of Josephine Uzzo

Josephine M. Uzzo, 95, of Port St. Lucie, died November 2, 2013 at her residence. She was born in New York City, and lived most of her life in Hawthorne, NY. She moved to Palm City in 1988, and then to Port St. Lucie in 2004. She had worked in the receiving department at Macy's in White Plains for 25 years and she had been a homemaker. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie and Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hawthorne, NY.

She is survived by her son, Frank Uzzo of Hawthorne, NY; daughters, Joann Donase and Rosemarie Uzzo, both of Port St. Lucie; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Uzzo in 1970 and 7 brothers and sisters.

Visitation: 3:00PM - 8:00PM, Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00AM, Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St Lucie.

Josephine will be transferred to Hawthorne Funeral Home in Hawthorne, NY for Services.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne to be buried with her husband Frank.
