Obituary of Josita Brooks

Josita T. Brooks, 86, of Palm City, Florida, died June 19, 2012 at the Parkway Health and Rehabilitation Center, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Brooklyn, New York she had been a resident of Palm City for 10 years coming from Franklin Square, New York.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City and a former member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Franklin Square.

Survivors include sons, Richard G. Brooks of Palm City, Robert L. Brooks of Greer, So. Carolina and Lester G. Brooks of Fishkill, New York; a daughter , Elizabeth Brooks of Glen Cove, New York; sisters Mary DeBonis of Franklin Square, Anne Brack of Massapequa, New York, Joan Rusterholz of Trumbull, Connecticut and Ellen Plouffe of Albuquerque, New Mexico and three grandchildren.

SERVICES: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City, Florida.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
