Obituary of Joy Reich

Joy Rossi Reich, 43, of Stuart, passed away December 18, 2006 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1963 in Camden, NJ. She had been a resident of Stuart for 12 years, moving from West Palm Beach. Joy was a 1981 graduate of Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ, a 1984 graduate of Florida Southern, and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She was Marketing Director for the American Heart Association southern division, prior to raising her children. Joy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, and was very active with the church and the school.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew Reich of Stuart; daughter, Emily Reich of Stuart; Kyle Reich of Stuart; sisters, Pam Rossi Reffner of Palm City and Holly Rossi of Stuart; father, Dr. Albert Rossi; and mother, Ruth Rossi, both of Stuart.

A visitation will be 10:00 AM 12:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Stuart.

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Joy Rossi Reich Scholarship Foundation. Contributions should be sent in her name to the Martin County Credit Union, PO Box 2157, Stuart, FL 34995. An annual scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who pursues their education in a medically related field in any accredited college or university in the United States.
