Joyce Lee Anderson Elkins, born April 28, 1936 and passed on June 29, 2021.

Joyce, better known as Mamma, was 85 years young when she passed peacefully on Tuesday.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years James Elkins and her siblings, Francis Hartsog, Glendon Anderson, Helen Nelson, Kenneth Anderson, and Nina Runyon.

Joyce and Jim were married on December 9, 1956 and have two daughters, Sherry Piasecki and Debbie James.  Joyce and Jim loved their children and were blessed with 4 grandchildren.  Matthias Piasecki, Alex Piasecki, Victoria Pattee, and Max Piasecki.

Before her passing Joyce was blessed to be able to see four great grandchildren be born.  They are Alex Pattee, Matthias Piasecki, Adrian Pattee, Damian Piasecki, and Grayson Piasecki.

Joyce worked all her life with two careers one in insurance and the other in education.  When their grandchildren were small, they used to "kidnap" them and take them on a overnight trip somewhere fun of course.  The children to this day talk about those trips.  Joyce's pride and joy was being called mamma and she felt it was the most precious gift God gave her.
