Obituary of Judith Knippel

Judith E. Knippel, 76, of Palm City, Florida, died, July 14, 2009 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Hey-Madeira House, Stuart, Florida.

Born in, West Bend, Wisconsin, she lived in Palm City for 32 years coming from Lake Park, Florida.

She was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church where she was Eucharistic Minister and a Lector. She had also been a volunteer with the Martin County Chapter of the American Red Cross. She was an accomplished artist who specialized in watercolor landscapes and lifelike painting of fish and wildlife wood carvings.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Donald R. Knippel Sr. of Palm City; daughters, Mary K. Natale and her husband Paul, of Yorba Linda, CA, Dori Knippel of Palm City, Joan K. Johnsen and her husband, Rik of Port St. Lucie and Margaret J. Laycock and her husband, Todd, of Jensen Beach, FL; sons, Thomas Knippel and his wife, Sally, of Port St. Lucie, Donald R. Knippel Jr. and his wife, Dianne, of Palmdale, California, Michael Knippel Sr. and his wife, Laurie, of Peachtree City, GA, James Knippel and his wife, Claudia, of Miami, FL, Robert Knippel and his wife, Wendy, of Cocoa Beach, FL and Daniel Knippel and his wife, Amy, of Tallahassee, FL, a sister, Lynne Patmore of Elm Grove, WI; a brother, Patrick Murphy of West Bend, WI; and grandchildren, Paul Natale Jr., Sarah K. Arriaga, Joseph Knippel, Anna Knippel, Ryan Knippel , Stephanie Paine, T.J. Laycock, Manoella Taris, Katie Laycock, Jimmy Knippel, Erik Knippel, Heidi Knippel, Aiden Knippel, Patrick Knippel, Sophia Knippel, Thomas Knippel, and Andrew Knippel.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on July 18, 2009 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City.
