Our beloved, Judy Windt, 71 of Port St. Lucie, Fl, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 24, 2023. Judy was born in Michigan, to Dudley and Mildred Brown on December 6, 1951. Judy was raised in Ohio, later moving to Port Charlotte, Florida with her parents at the age of 18. Judy met Louie in 1970, they became "Fools in Love" and began a marriage on April 1, 1972, that lasted over 50 years. Judy and Louie moved to port Saint Lucie in 1972, both working for General Development Corp. Judy became involved with her community, and became a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, where she continued for fifty years.
On December 19, 1974 Judy and Louie welcomed an adorable and happy son, Joseph., again on April 11, 1978, they welcomed their second bundle of joy, Matthew. With her sons being incredibly active, Judy became a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, as well as a Player Agent for Little league baseball. Judy was passionate about teaching her sons to follow their own path, and to chase their dreams.
Judy's career background includes being an Auxiliary Officer, and a 911 dispatcher for the Port St. Lucie Police Department. Judy was also a substitute teacher for North Port Middle School. Judy's main position was being the office manager and bookkeeper for the family owned air conditioning company. Judy was also heavily involved with her Sorority Sisters and Women of the Moose.
Judy was a beloved wife, mother, daughter sister and friend. Judy was clearly a women of many talents, who had a passion for art and crafts and for sharing her passion with others. Her love of life was evident in the way she lived.
Judy's memory lives on by her husband Louie Windt, son Matthew, Daughter in Law Any, Grandson Hunter, Granddaughter Hanna, Son Joseph, Daughter in Law Susan, Granddaughter Breanna, Grandson David, Sister Betty Snyder, and Brother Dale Brown.
