Obituary of June Huwe
June E. Huwe, 89, of Jensen Beach, FL, died February 1, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay-Madeira House, Stuart, FL.
Born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, she had been a resident of the Stuart for 34 years coming from Port Monmouth, New Jersey.
She was a homemaker and had been a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stuart. She also had been past president of both the Women's Auxiliary of the Jensen Beach Post 10066 of the VFW and the Anna Miller Circle of the Stuart-Jensen Lodge 1870 B.P.O. Elks.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Albert W. Huwe of Jensen Beach; a daughter, Alyce Schackmann of Hobe Sound; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Linda Svercauski and Karen Wheelis; her brothers, Robert and William and sisters, Lois and Beverly.
SERVICES: There will a memorial service at 2:00 PM on February 10, 2013 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. Inurnment will be at a later date in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
