Obituary of Katherine Culverhouse Ciaglo

Katherine Culverhouse Ciaglo, 64, of Palm City, passed away unexpectedly at her residence. She was born in Trinidad, and had been a resident of Palm City for 20 years. She had previously lived all over the world. Katherine was educated at Kylmore Abbey in Ireland, and attended College in Puerto Rico. Katherine had many careers, including but not limited to; working for British Airways, Avianca, construction with her husband Dennis, and to keep her faith strong, she attended St.Andrew Catholic Church in Stuart.

Katherine loved her family and her extended family. She was a devoted mother and a fantastic partner to her husband Dennis. Her interests were traveling, gardening, reading, knitting, learning new languages and she was always up for a new adventure.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dennis Ciaglo of Palm City; daughter, Katherine Rivera of Orlando; step-son, Michael Ciaglo of Sandwich, IL; step daughter, Cindy Ciaglo of Glendale Heights, IL; sister, Mary Bingaman of MO; brothers, Hagar Guy Culverhouse of Tampa and William Culverhouse of AZ; her daughters half sisters and brothers, Maribel Rivera, Mayra Rivera and Jose Louis Rivera, all of Puerto Rico and many dear friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation: 9:30 - 11:30AM, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 12 Noon, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Stuart.

There will be a gathering of friends and family at the Abundant Life Church Hall following the services.
