Kathleen Winifred Gardiner

April 11, 1922 - May 29, 2015

Our beloved mother and grandmother peacefully went to the Lord on May 29, 2015 at Parkway Nursing Home in Stuart, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Gardiner, brothers Charles, Ronald, Stanley and Gordon Carroll, sisters; Rose Peterson, Ida Brueggeman, Dolly Graham, Florence Carroll, and Lorna Dragomir. She was born in Windsor, Ontario Canada where she met and fell in love with her husband Ralph Gardiner. They moved to Detroit and then to Battle Creek, Michigan where she resided until five years ago when she moved to Stuart, Florida. She is survived by her six children; Janice Espie-Steffen , Palm City, FL, Susan Henry of Battle Creek, MI, James , Ralph ,and Jeffrey Gardiner of Battle Creek, MI, and Frank Gardiner of Huntington, WV. She has 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She worked as a Nurse's Aide at Lakeview Community Hospital in the ER and Intensive Care until her retirement. She and her husband Ralph traveled the US in their travel trailer and had many wonderful visits with her brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her ability to always find the best in each person, encouraging words, and great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by all.
