Obituary of Kathleen Metz
KATHLEEN K. METZ, age 67, of Palm City, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008 in Stuart, FL. Kathy was born on May 22, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI to Roland P. and Florence (Gitzen) Klumb. She came to this area in 1998 from Beverly Hills, MI. Kathy was of catholic faith and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, The Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club and VP of CFM Group, Inc.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Don P. Metz of Palm City, FL, two sons; Mark D. Metz of Milwaukee, WI, Michael J. (Stacy) Metz of Grand Rapids, MI and one grandson, Owen M. Metz, also of Grand Rapids, MI. Also surviving is one brother David P. (Shirley) Klumb of Shoreview, MN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1454 SW Mapp Road, Palm City, FL. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the American Lung Association of Florida, 2701 N. Australian Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407-9923. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillsfunerals.com
