Obituary of Kathleen Strong
Kathleen K. Strong, 95, of Canyon Lake, CA died April 8, 2013 at her residence.
Born Pontiac, MI she moved to Canyon Lake, CA 4 years ago from Palm City, FL.
She was a graduate of Stephens College, Columbia Missouri, where she was the president of the Administrative Council and one of the Ten Ideals at Stephens.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Lansing (Michigan) Symphony Orchestra and the University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra, Athens, Georgia. She was of the Calvin Presbyterian Church, West Detroit, Michigan where she was a Deacon, Elder, Circle Leader, member of the Women's Association and co-chairman of the 50th Anniversary Committee. In Florida she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Stuart, the Crane Creek Country Club and the Evergreen Country Club, both in Palm City
Survivors include her sons; Dr. David H. Strong of Panama City, Panama, Dr. Roger M. Strong of Canyon Lake, CA, Stephen R. Strong of Fort Worth, Texas; and six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Warren M. Strong.
Funeral services will be Sunday April 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
Entombment will be private.
