Obituary of Kenneth Appell

Kenneth R. Appell, Sr., 74, of Jensen Beach, FL, died July 22, 2013 at his home.

He was born in New York, New York and had been a resident of Jensen Beach for 4 years coming from Mooresville, North Carolina.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was a graduate of Adelphi University, Long Island, NY.

Before retiring he was an accountant for LILCO in Hicksville, New York for 30 years. He had been a volunteer with the Florida Oceanographic Society and a member of the Stuart Anglers Club.

Survivors include sons, Kevin M. Appell of Lindenhurst, NY, Kurt R. Appell of Oakdale, NY, Kenneth R. Appell Jr. of Massapequa, NY and Kyle T. Appell of Rochester, NY; a daughter Karen R. Lorelle of Oakdale, NY; a brother Gerald F. Appell of Palm City, FL and six grandchildren.
