Kostadina Metrusias October 24, 1933 - June 24, 2019
After 16 years of being diagnosed with Dementia and trying my hardest to keep her in our home; with a heavy heart my mother; Kostadina Metrusias; age 85 has passed away in our home while I was holding her hand praying over her. She is now in her Heavenly Father's arms with her husband Pete Metrusias and her twin brother John Siagris.
Kostadina Metrusia was born in Valira, Greece than married and moved to Mic higan where she was a florist and homemaker. Kostadina and her husband Pete; of 55 years moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in the 80s. Kostadina was known for the numerous parties, hospitality, gardening, and her good Greek cooking.
The growing family that she has left behind are her CHILDREN Dorothy Zigouras, John Gus Metrusias (Patricia) & Sophie Carter (Alfred Giuffrida). GRANDCHILDREN Gus Zigouras (Tonya), Pete Zigouras, Nikki Metrusias, Angela Jubb (Jon), Melissa Metrusias, Kristie Metrusias, Alfred Giuffrida, Jr. (Merrilee), Christopher Giuffrida (Mary), Carol Giuffrida, GREAT GRANDCHILDREN Christian Bowers, Alexandra Kostadina Jubb, Adam Jubb, Fotios Zigouras & Marina Giuffrida as her life lives on through her children. She is also survived by her siblings Georgia Bovis, George Siagris & Voula Kritikos.
