Obituary of Kyra Smith

Kyra Ellyse "Kiwi" Smith, 9, of Port St. Lucie, died June 14, 2007, after a brief illness. She was born in West Palm Beach. She attended Floresta Elementary School, where she was an honor student and had attended Kindercare. She was a member of Port St. Lucie Soccer Club and Girl Scout troop 681. Survivors include her parents, Eric and Jennifer Smith of Port St. Lucie; brother, Alex Smith of Port St. Lucie; granparents, Sharmen and Phil Merlier and Harold Smith. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Smith Ford. SERVICES: A service of remembrance will be at 3 p.m. June 19 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. Visitation will follow the service until 5 p.m. Forest Hills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
