Obituary of Laura Soloperto

Laura Rubino Soloperto, 102, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at The Place at Stuart, January 4, 2016. Formally of Worcester, MA, she and her husband, Angelo, moved to Miami in the 60's and relocated to Stuart in the 80's. During her long life Laura worked for Koppen and Watkins law firm. Laura was most proud of her retail modeling career. She was an avid fashionista never leaving the house without being dressed to the nines. She loved to bake for her family and was the ultimate hostess. Her feisty spirited personality will be missed by all she touched.

She is survived by her son, John and wife, Toni of Stuart, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo, son, Richard and 4 siblings.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 9:00AM at Forest Hills Funeral Home at 2001 SW Murphy Rd., Palm City with a celebration of life beginning at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.

The family expresses their gratitude to the caring staff at The Place at Stuart and to staff at Treasure Coast Hospice.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her name to Treasure Coast Hospice.
