Obituary of Lawrence Johnson

Lawrence "Larry" Johnson, 68, passed away in Stuart, FL on Friday, March 27, 2015, peacefully at his home.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA. Larry was a resident of Stuart since 1979 and of Florida since 1966. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Drake College in Ft. Lauderdale. Larry worked as a general contractor in his early career, and then moved on to become a landscape purchasing agent.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica "Bunny" Johnson; his daughter Michele Moore and son-in-law Paul of Jacksonville; his son Michael Johnson and daughter-in-law Kirsi of Stuart; daughter Jennifer Mason Sanders and son-in-law Derek of Stuart; and 6 grandchildren, Connor and Rachel Moore, Delaney and Alec Johnson, and Reggie and Zachary Mason; his mother Irene "Rene" Johnson; and his sister Linda Moore and brother-in-law, Bob.

Services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015. A celebration of life service will be held at Dupuis Reserve State Forest from 3pm to 4pm (23500 SW Kanner Hwy, Canal Point, FL 33438; 17.5 miles west on Kanner Highway past the 76A intersection; enter the main gate/gate 1 and follow the signs to the family campground; turn will be marked with American flags), followed by an open house at the Sander's home, 2190 Panther Trace, Stuart, FL 34997 from 5pm to 7pm.
