Lawrence G. Regier Sr. of Palm City, Florida went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the age of 94.

Lawrence was born on November 9, 1930, in Newton, Kansas and was raised on a farm near Peabody, Kansas. He worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas. After living in Kansas for 40 years, he moved his family to Florida and began working at Kennedy Space Center in Titusville, Florida. He eventually moved the family to Palm City and worked for Grumman (Vought) Corporation for 26 years until his retirement in December 2000.

No matter where Lawrence lived, he was always very active in church. Most times as a Deacon; other times as a facilities maintenance or yard worker; and other times caring for people that needed a hand with a project or giving them a ride to a doctor's appointment.

When Lawrence retired at the age of 70, he also volunteered at the Samaritan Home for Boys by doing odd jobs and mowing the grounds. Lawrence also volunteered at the Elliott Museum where he was happy to show visitors the boat that he built out of spare Grumman parts and using the opportunity to spread the Gospel. He would regularly comment to museum visitors about his age and that he would soon be "pushing up the daisies". He made sure that they knew that he was "drumming up business for Heaven so that he would have someone to talk to when he got there". At last count, Lawrence had also donated more than 110 gallons to the One Blood bank.

Lawrence is survived by his children, Lawrence (Larry) Regier Jr. and Helen Ruth Trout; 3 grandchildren, Lawrence Regier III, Gary Regier and Justin Davis; and his first wife of 26 years, Beverly Snook Regier Shepard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius Peter & Helen (Toevs) Regier, sisters Dorthea Goering and Darlene Regier; and beloved second wife Doris Regier of 24 years.

A memorial service will be held at Stuart Alliance Church, 445 SE Osceola Street, Stuart, FL 34994, on Friday, April 11th at 1PM. His interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City FL 34990, at approximately 2:30PM. Light snacks and beverages will be available at the church after the interment.
