Obituary of Leo Hale
Leo L. Hale, 86, of Palm City, died October 18, 2008 at Martin Memorial Hospital South, Stuart, Florida.
Born in Cornwall, Missouri he had been a resident of Palm City and Stuart for 24 years coming from St. Louis, Missouri.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Before retiring he was an assembly line worker for the Ford Motor Company in St. Louis.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Stuart, Florida.
Survivors include daughters Ella Slusher of Fountain Valley, California, Cyndi Boyce of Scottsdale, Arizona and Beth Rayl of St. Louis; sisters, Maxine Franklin of St. Louis and Juanita Ivy of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Leona Stacey of Chicago, Illinois; a brother Donald Kuykendahl of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren and 15 great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his wife Alberta Hale and a daughter Peggy Curless.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on October 24, 2008 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel. There will be a service at 9:00 AM on October 25, 2008 at the funeral home with Dr. Darryl Orman, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Stuart officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
