Obituary of Leonard Flocco
Leonard J. Flocco, 83, of Palm City, passed away at his residence, March 25, 2008. He was born January 30, 1925 in the Bronx, NY. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He had lived in Yonkers, NY and Summit, NJ. He had been a part-time resident of South Florida for 25 years, and had lived in Palm City for the past 8 years. Leonard had been a heavy equipment operating engineer before retirement. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local #15.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dolores Flocco of Palm City; daughters, RoseMarie Moschetta of Summit, NJ and Donna Palais of Rye, NY; a son, John Flocco of Castle Rock, CO; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Thomas Flocco.
Visitations will be Friday, March 28th, 1:00 3:00PM and 5:00 7:00 PM with a 6:00PM prayer service at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 29th at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, Mayes Center for Hope, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 349997, in Leonards memory.
