Leonard "Lenny" Michaud, 99, of Hobe Sound, Florida entered his Heavenly home on November 30, 2023. He was a beacon of strength, faith, and community spirit who sadly left us, but whose legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. Born in 1924 in Canada, he emigrated to this country in 1960 as a carpenter.  He married the "one in a million" love of his life, Beatrice, in 1946, who predeceased him in 2020.

His spirit lives on through his six children, Micheline Bovat (Carlton), Lucie Orzech (Chris), Michel Michaud, Jean-Paul Michaud, Joel Michaud (Margaret), Marie-Claude Avery (Bruce), and his surviving loving sisters, Simone St-Onge and Marie-Paul Laurin. He also leaves behind a host
of adored grand to great-great-grand children who were Pépère's crowning glory.

Lenny was a man of deep faith who lived his life serving others and his church community at St. Christopher Church since 1986. He is warmly remembered as a tireless volunteer wearing many hats – as a communicant, altar server, usher, candles carer, and bingo volunteer. He was
an Honorary Lifetime Knight of Columbus 4th degree brother. His deep faith in the Holy Family and Praying the Rosary never wavered in his long life, and his family takes comfort that Lenny is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The family will celebrate his life at St. Christopher Church, 12001 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, Florida on Saturday, December 9th, beginning with the Viewing at 10:00, Funeral Mass at 10:30, followed by a reception in the Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St.
Christopher Church in honor of his many years of service and his deep affection for Fr. Hynes.
