Our beloved brother, uncle, and friend Leslie Werner Perkins, Jr., "Les", age 67, of Weston passed away Friday, September 11, 2020. While attending Miami Norland Senior High School, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and graduated in 1971. Les was an electrician by trade and built his career at Luzer Electric, Inc. With Luzer, he served loyally for 31 years from August of 1983 until the company closed in 2014, where he joined the board of directors in 1998 and was eventually named president in 2007. As an entrepreneur, he found success in real estate with his company Home Properties, LLC, insurance consulting with Aflac, and independent sales and marketing. Les sought to help others and add value within his community, serving as a Red Cross Disaster Action Team Leader and belonging to the Weston Florida Chamber of Commerce. An avid sports buff and die-hard Miami Dolphins fan, he loved football, baseball, basketball, and golf. His other interests included collecting rare coins, new tech, and old keys. He also enjoyed long-distance cycling, fishing, and playing guitar.

Les is preceded in death by his parents Josephine Perkins and Leslie Perkins, Sr. He is survived by Rena Perkins and Karen Carroll; sisters, William Pattacchia; uncle, Arlena Adderton; niece, Joseph Carroll and David Diven; nephews, and numerous cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990 with Father Jack Barrow officiating.
