Obituary of Lester Carver
Lester C. Carver, 81, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died February 22, 2010 at Sunny Day Assisted Living, Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Born in Powder Springs, Tennessee, he had lived in Port St. Lucie and Nettles Island, Jensen Beach for 20 years coming from Allen Park, Michigan.
Before retiring he was a crane operator for McClouth Steel in Wyandotte, Michigan for 31 years.
Survivors include daughters Donna Carver and Diana Keller both of Port St. Lucie and Betty Hasler of Allen Park; sons Douglas Carver of Maryville, Tennessee and Lester C. Carver Jr. of Flat Rock, Michigan; a brother, Boyd Carver of Knoxville, Tennessee; sisters Norma Pickel of River Rouge, Michigan, Loretta Edwards of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Linda Gregory of Allen Park; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara J. Carver.
SERVUCES: Visitation will be from Feb 26, 2010 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
