March 1, 1931 – January 12, 2023

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Lillian Jeanette Hoogkamp of Port Saint Lucie, FL on January 12, 2023 at the age of 91.

Lillian has been reunited in heaven with her loving husband of 56 years Gerrit Norman Hoogkamp. She leaves behind two children, a son Gary S. Hoogkamp (Elizabeth) of Port Saint Lucie, FL and a daughter Judy L. Vanderploeg (Peter) of Cape Coral, FL who brought her great joy. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren Tracy Wagner, Kimberly Kelly (Kurt), Gary Hoogkamp, April Jones (Wayne), Amanda Hoogkamp, Daniel Vanderploeg (Emily), Rebecca Montrose (Dave), Benjamin Vanderploeg (Sarah), Rachel Vanderploeg, and many great grandchild and great great grandchildren. All of whom she loved dearly.

Lillian was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family, she enjoyed doing puzzles and whenever surrounded by company you could be sure she would seize the opportunity for a game of cards and pizza.

A Viewing and Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday January 20, 2023, at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, FL. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, FL.
