IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Mary
Beagan
October 13, 1948 – February 10, 2022
Linda Beagan passed away Feb.10, 2022.
She died peacefully, in her sleep, rosary in hand.
Linda was a proud Bronx native. She was equally as proud of her Italian heritage.
She was a gifted designer, baker, cook, gardener, and a master at word games and puzzles. She had penmanship and gift-wrapping skills that most people would consider art.
Linda had style. She was always dressed and accessorized to perfection. She was Beall's and Amazon's best customer.
And no one who knew her would disagree that she was generous. Generous with her love, humor, and support. She was also generous with material things, too. Linda was the most thoughtful gift-giver.
Linda was a trouper. She sat through endless Met games, bore countless Football Sundays and smiled through it all.
Life wasn't always easy. But she fought through her tribulations and never let them harden her heart.
She had a great sense of humor. She could give as much as she would take. An example? Linda, who kept an impeccably clean house, has requested that her pink dustbuster goes with her to heaven.
She was a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, mother, stepmother, Méme , great-grandmother, friend and niece. One of her fondest childhood memories was being a flower girl at her Uncle Frank and Aunt MaryAnn's wedding.
She loved her husband as much the day she left us, as she did the day she married him 28 years ago. Ronnie Milsap's "What a Difference You've Made in My Life" was their song. But she made a difference in so many lives.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Ann and Sam Pagliaro.
She will be mourned and then woefully missed by her husband, Charlie; brother, Stephen; sons, Eric, Marc and his wife Kim; stepdaughter Jennifer and her husband John; grandchildren, Britani and her husband Jared, Tanner, Lana, Gavin, Harper; great-grandchildren, Raelyn and Bella; Uncle Frank and Aunt MaryAnn, Aunt Lola; nephews Jason and his wife Erika, Stephen and his wife Larissa; cousins Lisa, Donna, Regina, Carl, Greg, Frank, Jon; lifelong friend MaryAnn; her beloved Chase; and countless others whose lives she touched with her grace, goodness and wit.
Linda will never be truly gone because she has left us all with so much. Including one last note, written on her kitchen chalkboard, in her exquisite handwriting.
It says simply: "Today is a gift!!"
Thanks for the reminder, Linnie.
If you feel moved to express your sympathy by giving, we believe Linda would prefer you donate to her favorite charity: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at
