Obituary of Lionel Jacques
Lionel Jacques, 87, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died December 18, 2012 at Emerald Health Care, Port St. Lucie.
Born in Les Cayes, Haiti, he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 17years coming from, Brooklyn, New York.
Before retiring he was the owner/operator of Jactk Auto Repair in Brooklyn. He had served in the Haitian Air Force as a mechanic. He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. He had also been a Mason.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Renee' Jacques of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Carole DeJean of Vero Beach, FL, Elsie Denerville of Brooklyn, New York and Eveline Lezeau of Port St. Lucie; sons, Frantz Jacques of East Hartford, Connecticut and Lionel Jacques of Elkridge, Maryland; sisters, Josephine Chenet and Maude Pierre-Louis both of Brooklyn and Bertha Jacgues of Boston, Massachusetts; brothers Legagneur Jacques and Anthony Jacques, both of Haiti and Gabriel Jacques of Brooklyn; eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9:00PM on December 21, 2012 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on December 22, 2012 at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
